Kwaa,  kwa jaa mma,
Were nne gị kwụọ m ụgwọ,
Kwaa, kwa jaa mma,
Were nna gị kwụọ m ụgwọ,
Kwaa, kwa jaa mma,
Gị sị a gị akwụụ m ụgwọ,
Egbeleke buru ni gị,
 Ọgankwọ buru ni gị,
ị jewe ejewe kwụọ m ụgwọ,
ị lọwa alọwa kwụọ ụgwọ,
Kwaa, kwa jaa mma,
Ya bụrụ ma Egbeleke ebuteghị gị,
 Ọgankwọ ga-ebute lịlị gị,
Ya bụrụ ma Ọgankwọ ebuteghị gị,
Ọsọsọọ miri sọrọ nị gị, sọrọ nị gị,
Ya sọrọ nị gị ka ị kwụọ m ụgwọ,
Kwaa kwa jaa mma.
Ọsọsọ miri sọrọ nị gị k'ịrụgbuo, rụgbuo !, rụgbuo !,
Ya sọrọ nị gị k'ịrụgbuo n'me ite ofe nne m,
Ya bụrụ ma gị rụgbuo ! rụgbuo, rụgbuo
Ọbụ mụ nwa ga-agụta gị n'ite ofe nne m,
Ya bụrụ ma m gụta gị, gụta gị , gụta gị,
Ma ewere gị mere azụ oru n'ite ofe nnem,
Ma ọ sọrọ gị ma ọ sọghị gị,
Kwaa kwa jaa mma .

Ụkpara niile nọ na ọhịa, ha niile bụ nke nwambi,
Ụgụrụbe na Ọtagelege, ololo na nwa-akụebe,
Oke niile nọ na ọhịa, ọbụ nwambị nwe ha ncha,
Nwa-odu na nwa-ọgụrụ, tụmadụ uze-na-ọsa,
Azụ niile hi nọ nị ịyị, ha niile bụ nke m,
Nwa-oporo na ayaraọcha, mangala na ayara ojii,
Nwụrụpịrị na Ọsụ-mkpịtị, Sụngu na ịle,
Nke na ekweghị ị bụ nke m,
Ịkuku agụrụ buru ya, buru ya, buru ya , Ịkuku agụrụ buru ya
Ka ọ dakpuo na ime ite ofe nne m .
Ofe ọma nne m na etere m,
Ofe ụgbọgụrụ na mtụrụkpa,
Ọkọrọ-ụgba na ụgụ-manụ,
Ofe-ụha na ofe-ogiri,
M gụta ụkpara, m gụta ayara,
M gụta ịle, m gụta sụngu,
M gụta anụ-oke, m gụta azụ,
Ka nri nne m jiri bụrụ erichaa atabie aka,
Na erichaa, e bie ubiri, bie kọrọrọ .

THE BASTARDIZATIOM OF THE THRONE OF IGWE IN IGBOLAND The throne of Igwe or Eze in Igbo land is traditional and ancestral. The Eze stool is meant to be sacred and full of divinity and power. It was the oracle that chose who would be king of his people in Igbo land. The traditional Igbo stool enjoyed unadulterated divinity, and sacrosanctity and power, which had direci spiritual link with the gods. THE IGWE STOOL IS ANCESTRAL AND TRADITIONAL AND NOT POLITICAL The Nze-na-Ọzọ title holders constitute  the king makers whose duty was to prepare the chosen king according to the demand of traditional tenets of the land. A chosen Eze or Igwe was usually subjected to series of oaths,and rituals to prepare him for the onerous task of the Eze or  Igwe stools in Igbo land. A new king could be chosen at infancy according to the wishes of the oracle.
